We got dropped off at the Everest View Hotel and our pilot had a rescue call. Then the clouds moved in. I didn't think there was any way he would be able to return. He did and it was epic.
One of the coolest thing about the Everest Base Camp helicopter tour is how remote most of these houses are. It must take DAYS to get anywhere with the terrain and mountain switchbacks.
